Job summary

EMCOR Services Automated Controls, a division of DeBra-Kuempel, seeks a BAS Service Technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and commissioning of building automation systems on-site and remotely. The role manages service documentation, contract hours, and customer communication to ensure efficient system performance.

The ideal candidate has strong controls experience, technical expertise, and excellent customer service skills, with at least 3 years in the building

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; MET Technical Degree, MES Journeyman or equivalent preferred.
• 3+ years related experience in building automation and mechanical controls service preferred.
• Familiarity with major control systems (Automated Logic, Tridium, Honeywell, Trane, JCI).
• Solid knowledge of building automation software and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled controls preventative maintenance across building automation systems.
• Startup/checkout/commissioning of building automation systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace components; provide remote support.
• Log maintenance tasks and complete service tickets for PM accounts and projects.
• Communicate with customers on tasks and hours; coordinate with Service Team Lead for proposals.
