Job summary

The Hunton Group’s Hunton Services division seeks a dependable Plant BAS Operator to support 24/7 critical facility operations in Childress, Texas. You will monitor and operate Central Utility Plant, HVAC, and related mechanical systems via BAS/BMS and Ignition BMS/SCADA, ensuring safety, reliability, and uptime.

You will identify abnormal conditions, coordinate verification, document activity, and escalate issues according to site procedures, working with field technicians and site leadership

Qualifications

• BAS/BMS operation and control of HVAC systems.
• Experience with monitoring, operating, or troubleshooting BAS/BMS-controlled equipment.
• Ability to interpret BAS graphics, alarms, and trends.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Central Utility Plant, HVAC, and related systems through BAS/BMS and Ignition platform.
• Track equipment status, temperatures, pressures, flow rates, loads, setpoints, alarms, and trends.
• Respond to alarms and abnormal conditions by coordinating verification and escalation.
• Maintain shift logs, alarm records, and operation documentation.
• Follow SOPs, MOPs, EOPs, and safety policies; communicate with field teams.
