Job summary

The Building People LLC is seeking an experienced Building Automation Systems (BAS) Programmer with advanced Niagara N4 experience to support the Army Reserve's Enterprise Building Control System (EBCS) program. The role involves programming, integrating, commissioning, and troubleshooting Niagara-based BAS across a seven-state region.

Travel is approximately 25% overnight to locations in CA, NV, AZ, NM, TX, OK, and AR, with company-paid travel.

Qualifications

• 2+ years programming Niagara N4 Building Automation Systems.
• Experience with JACE controllers.
• Proficient with Niagara Workbench.
• Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus and LON.
• DDC programming and HVAC controls troubleshooting.
• Ability to travel approximately 25%.

Responsibilities

• Program, configure, commission, and troubleshoot Niagara N4 BAS.
• Upgrade existing JACE controllers to EBCS standards.
• Integrate field devices and JACEs into Army Reserve EBCS.
• Configure graphics, databases, network communications, and control sequences.
• Diagnose and resolve HVAC controls issues including sensors and networks.
• Support Retro-Cx projects through QA/QC.
• Perform startup, commissioning and functional testing.
• Monitor enterprise BAS and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers and Army Reserve personnel.
• Provide owner training and technical support.
• Attend EBCS stakeholder meetings and review controls work for quality.
