Job summary

Watershed Technologies Inc. is seeking a BAS Installation Technician to perform field installation of building automation systems at client sites across the Greater Toronto Area. You will mount and wire controllers, panels and devices, translating drawings into working installed systems ready for commissioning.

This hands-on role focuses on installation; programming and commissioning are handled by our controls team. A strong candidate has BAS/automation experience and reads electrical drawings.

Qualifications

• College diploma or university degree in engineering or a technical field related to electrical systems.
• 2–3 years of hands-on installation experience with BAS, HVAC controls, or low-voltage systems.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and control schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install BAS controllers, control panels, enclosures, sensors, actuators and relays at client sites.
• Pull, route, label and terminate low-voltage control wiring between controllers and field devices.
• Lay out and install panel backboards, raceways and cable management for BAS equipment.
• Install and terminate field devices including sensors and switches.
• Read drawings and wiring diagrams to determine device locations and wiring routes.
• Perform point-to-point wiring verification and continuity checks before energizing.
• Coordinate with licensed contractors and project teams; identify regulated installation work.
• Complete installation records and as-built drawings.
