Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC is seeking an experienced Automation/Controls Technician/Installer to support Building Automation System (BAS) installations. Responsibilities include mounting control components, installing low voltage wiring, performing terminations, and conducting system start-ups.

The ideal candidate will hold a CT E2 or L6 license, have 3+ years of BAS installation and maintenance experience, and possess strong troubleshooting and customer-service skills to ensure high-quality

Qualifications

Must hold a valid CT E2 or L6 license.
3+ years of BAS installation and maintenance experience.
Experience with low voltage wiring, system start-up, and troubleshooting.
Strong ability to read wiring diagrams and system specs.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

BAS Installation: Mount and install control components, sensors, thermostats, and controllers; install conduit and low voltage wiring per specs.
System Start-Up and Checkout: Conduct start-ups, verify proper function and calibration; perform testing and troubleshooting to identify issues.
Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Diagnose and repair BAS components, wiring, and controls; respond to service calls.
Collaboration and Communication: Work with project managers, engineers, and technicians; provide status updates to clients.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure installations comply with local codes and safety protocols.
