Job summary

The role requires 2–5 years in building automation, reading blueprints, DDC programming, and knowledge of BACnet/Modbus. On-site travel and strong communication with clients are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in HVAC, Building Automation, or related field.
• 2–5 years experience in building automation or HVAC controls.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specs.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure BAS controllers, sensors, and components per design.
• Commission BAS systems with HVAC, lighting, and other building systems.
• Calibrate sensors, actuators, dampers, and control devices.
• Perform preventive maintenance for optimum performance and longevity.
• Diagnose, repair, and troubleshoot BAS network issues.
• Analyze data and alarms; propose improvements and energy savings.
• Upgrade BAS software/firmware as needed.
• Provide on-site technical support to clients and operators.
• Train owners and operators on data access and control interfaces.
• Maintain service records and generate performance reports.
• Follow OSHA and local codes; ensure safe, compliant work.
