Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. seeks a hands-on BAS / HVAC Controls Service Technician to troubleshoot, service, commission, and maintain commercial HVAC control and Building Automation Systems.

You will work directly with customers at various facilities, reading schematics, diagnosing issues, and executing preventive maintenance. On-site service, local travel, and ongoing training lead to career growth within an established organization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with HVAC Controls or Building Automation Systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Reading electrical schematics and control drawings.
• Experience with BAS platforms such as Johnson Controls, Siemens, Trane, Schneider Electric, Automated Logic, Tridium Niagara, Honeywell, Distech, Alerton, Carrier, Delta.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC control systems and BAS.
• Perform preventive maintenance and service on HVAC controls, sensors, actuators, and related equipment.
• Install, wire, replace, and modify BAS control devices and system components.
• Commission systems and verify proper operation after repairs or upgrades.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, control drawings, and sequences of operation.
• Work with building owners, facility personnel, and project teams to resolve issues.
• Respond to service calls and outages as needed.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and assist with customer training.
