Job summary

Jobot, a leading provider of building automation solutions, seeks a seasoned BAS/BMS programmer in California to design and optimize control algorithms for commercial HVAC systems. You will manage databases, integrate BAS platforms, and lead project start-ups while delivering training and documentation to end users.

Responsibilities include inspecting, testing, adjusting, and repairing automation hardware and software, ensuring reliable operation across multi-site deployments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of BAS/BMS experience in commercial HVAC controls.
• Experience with at least one major BAS platform.
• Proficiency with Tridium Niagara N4.
• Nice to have: BS in related field.
• Nice to have: Niagara N4 certification.
• Nice to have: BACnet/LonWorks/Modbus experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain control algorithms for building automation systems.
• Manage and update system databases.
• Integrate multiple BAS platforms into unified solutions.
• Lead project start-ups and ensure successful deployment.
• Provide user training and create comprehensive documentation.
• Inspect, test, adjust, and repair automation hardware and software.
