Job summary

Kinetic Search Strategies, LLC in Pleasanton, CA is seeking a Design Engineer to own BAS controls design from drawings to submittals and closeout, and to assemble systems that meet project specs. You will read blueprints, select controllers and peripherals, produce As-Builts and O&M docs, and collaborate with PMs to find value-engineering opportunities.

Candidates should have 2-5 years BAS experience, a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree, proficiency in AutoCAD, Visio and MS Office, and

2–5 years of hands-on BAS experience with a mechanical or electrical engineering degree.
Ability to read construction blueprints and electrical schematics.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Visio and MS Office; basic networking knowledge.

Responsibilities

Own the controls design from initial drawings and sequences through submittals and closeout.
Put the system together on paper by selecting the right controls and peripherals to match specs.
Turn field changes into a finished design and produce accurate As-Builts.
Wrap up the details with O&M documentation for clean project closeouts.
