Job summary

Total Comfort Solutions is seeking a Controls Technician to service BAS systems across South Carolina and Georgia. The role requires hands-on programming, installation, and commissioning of BAS hardware, plus strong troubleshooting skills and on-site customer interaction.

Travel to client sites is expected; you will respond to on-call rotation, mentor apprentices, and coordinate with teammates to ensure project success and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of BAS programming and integration experience with third-party equipment.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Candidates must have tools to perform work at a Level 3 technician level.
• Must pass fit-for-duty evaluations and work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, service, and perform preventative maintenance on BAS equipment in a timely, high-quality manner.
• Perform Building Automation System integrations and install/program BAS as required.
• Generate custom graphical interfaces for controls systems and maintain accurate work tickets.
• Mentor apprentice technicians and participate in on-call rotations including nights/weekends.
• Promote professional communication with customers and co-workers; report leads for new business.
• Organize all work details, start-up/check-out sheets, and ensure customer satisfaction during closeout.
