Job summary

Daikin Applied Ltd. seeks an HVAC Controls Technician II in Raleigh, NC to install, program, and service commercial digital control systems for BAS. You will support ongoing maintenance, upgrades, and service requests while ensuring system reliability and customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, commissioning, and the ability to interpret sequences of operation, trend logs, and graphics. A valid driver’s license and related experience are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of related experience with increasing responsibility.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift 50lbs with or without an accommodation.
• Required license(s) and/or training card as required by local law district.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive and professional customer service with the goal of building and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
• Identify, analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot direct digital control systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance, commissioning, and replacement modifications as needed or requested by customers.
• Maintain building automation systems by inspecting trend logs, reports, schedules, applications, hardware, and programming.
• Provide controls technical support to HVAC technicians.
• Create and/or implement programming and graphics for new installations and retrofit projects.
• Commission controls installations and verify that control sequences meet scope, design, or specifications.
• Provide training and follow-ups for Customers and operations personnel.
• Complete work orders and review with customers for accuracy.
• Continually look for ways to improve our processes and ability to serve our customers effectively.
