Job summary

Yates Company, LLC is seeking a BAS Controls Technician to lead installation, startup, commissioning, and closeout of Carrier i-Vu BAS on construction and retrofit projects across Central and South Texas. You will act as the in-field technical lead, ensuring compliance with contract documents and owner expectations.

Responsibilities include configuring hardware/software, performing calibration and testing, and coordinating with project teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of BAS controls installation, startup, and commissioning.
• Experience reading control drawings, sequences of operation, and specifications.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting BAS hardware, software, and networks.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission Carrier i-Vu BAS hardware and software on construction and retrofit projects.
• Develop, modify, and validate control logic and sequences of operation in Carrier i-Vu.
• Coordinate field activities with Project Manager, electricians, and other trades.
• Maintain accurate field documentation including as-built drawings and point schedules.
