Job summary

ModernControls LLC is seeking a Building Automation Programmer to join our team in Delaware, serving commercial facilities across DE/PA/NJ/MD/VA/DC. The role involves designing, reviewing, and implementing BAS projects, with growth into senior BAS positions.

You will work with facility teams, architects, and engineers to program DDCs, configure BAS, and lead onsite startup activities at customer sites. A strong BAS background and HVAC knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Building Automation (BAS) programming experience.
• Strong understanding of HVAC controls/equipment.
• Read construction blueprints/documents.
• Communicate with end users and provide customer training.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Must have valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Program and configure DDCs for HVAC systems.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams for seamless system integration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control systems.
• Commission, diagnose, and repair environmental-control systems.
• Lead multiple project implementations with several different customers.
• Coordinate and manage BAS Support Technicians regarding work associated with assigned projects.
• Serve as a primary technical contact to management regarding projects.
