Boston University Medical Campus is seeking a NEIDL Control Tech I to monitor and manage the Building Automation System (BAS), respond to alarms, and coordinate with safety and facilities teams. You will support maintenance, troubleshooting, and safe operation of building systems in a high-containment research environment.

Must have English proficiency, a valid driver’s license, and ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifikationen

• Must read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work independently or in a group.
• Must successfully pass NEIDL and related background checks throughout employment.
• Proficient with Windows OS and Office suites.

Aufgaben

• Monitor the NEIDL BAS for alerts and alarms.
• Make notifications of BAS alerts to NEIDL occupants.
• Coordinate initial emergency response with EH&S, Facilities, and Public Safety.
• Assist Facilities mechanics in BAS-related maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Help test building systems and equipment.
• Assist with lab decontamination and re-commissioning via BAS.
• Follow safety procedures including PPE in NEIDL labs.
• Other duties as assigned.
