Horseshoe Bay Resort in Texas is seeking a personable Bartender for Whitewater 360 Sports Club. You will craft beverages, deliver guest-focused service, and ensure accuracy and compliance in a fast-paced sports-bar setting.

The role requires knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits, plus upselling. Valid TABC and Food Handler’s certificates are needed. This is a full-time position with resort benefits and employee perks.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old (21+ preferred).
• Valid TABC Certification and Food Handler’s Certificate required.
• Previous bartending experience preferred; sports bar or resort experience a plus.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages accurately using established recipes and standards.
• Provide attentive, engaging service with clear guest communication.
• Maintain knowledge of beer, wine, spirits and food; upsell when appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws, sanitation and safety practices.
• Stock, organize, and maintain bar inventory; monitor par levels.
• Maintain a clean, organized, fully stocked bar throughout the shift.
• Complete opening, ongoing, and closing duties; secure the bar area.
• Collaborate with management and team members for smooth operations.
• Participate in pre-shift meetings and communicate updates.
• Accurately complete required reports and follow scheduling.
• Support events and banquet functions (BEO execution).

We are seeking a personable, efficient Bartender who delivers exceptional guest service while executing beverages with consistency, accuracy, and compliance.

Position Summary

The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes, service standards, and legal requirements. This role plays a key part in creating a welcoming, engaging environment for guests while maintaining operational excellence behind the bar.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages accurately using established recipes and standards
• Provide attentive, engaging service with clear and professional guest communication
• Maintain strong knowledge of menu offerings, including beer, wine, spirits, and food items; upsell when appropriate
• Ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws, sanitation standards, and safety practices
• Stock, organize, and maintain bar inventory; monitor par levels and requisition supplies as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout the shift
• Complete opening, ongoing, and closing duties, including securing the bar area
• Collaborate with management and team members to ensure smooth daily operations
• Participate in pre-shift meetings and communicate important updates
• Accurately complete required reports and follow scheduling assignments
• Support special events and banquet functions as needed (BEO execution)

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old (21+ preferred)

• Strong communication and guest service skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and adherence to uniform standards

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English; additional languages are a plus

Compensation

• Estimated earnings: $20–$45/hour (includes tips; varies based on seasonality and business levels)
