Job summary

Valle by Chef Roberto Alcocer, part of Hyatt, seeks a tenured bartender with fine dining experience to artfully craft cocktails and guide guest experiences. This role requires strong knowledge of spirits, impeccable service, and a passion for hospitality in a high-end setting.

You will create drinks to guest preferences, uphold standards, and work Tuesday–Saturday in a busy, elegant setting, with a comprehensive benefits package at Hyatt.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Bartending experience in a fine dining establishment (Michelin Star preferred).
• 3+ year experience in F&B.
• Ability to create a cocktail, on the spot, based on a guest flavor likes.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work Tuesday – Saturday.
• Spirit specific knowledge: understands flavor differences between spirits (espadin, pechuga, agave azul; scotch, bourbon, whiskey).

Responsibilities

• Fulfill guest orders and man the bar area.
• Create cocktails based on guest preferences and Valle standards.
• Provide a welcoming and clean environment for guests.
• Maintain fine dining etiquette and groomed appearance; be punctual.
• Work Tuesday – Saturday.

This position will be responsible for fulfilling guest orders and manning the bar area. We are not just looking for any Bartender. This bartender will understand that the bar area is an amenity to the restaurant. This person will be able to create a cocktail out of the blue based on a guest’s preference for their likes. If a guest states they like lemon, and smoky flavor, you will be able to create a drink right then and there. This person will have fine dining etiquette and have strong knowledge of spirits and their history. The Bartender will prepare beverages in accordance with menu and Valle standards and provide a welcoming and cleanenvironment for guests. This person is tenured/experiences Bartender that has worked in fine dining establishments or cocktail bars. This person would be creative and live, breathe, have a passion for curating cocktails! This is not a position for someone looking to newly become a Bartender. A groomed appearance/ being on time to every shift are requirements.

This role is full time and eligible for health beneftis. This role is Tuesday – Saturday.

The hourly rate for this position is $18.00hr

• Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight (about25 pounds).
• Must be able to work Tuesday – Saturday.
• 3+ years of Bartending experience in a fine dining establishment. (Michelin Star preferred.)
• 3+ year experience in F&B.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Spirit specific knowledge:
  • Understands the profile flavor differences between spirits.
  • Ex: espadin, pechuga and agave azul.
  • Ex: scotch, bourbon, and whiskey.
• Able to create a cocktail, on the spot, based on a guest flavor likes.
