Job summary

Emmy Squared WESTPORT is seeking experienced bartenders to join our growing team in Westport, CT. This full-service venue operates as part of the Pizza Loves Emily group, offering pizza, burgers, and sandwiches with a vibrant, upscale casual atmosphere.

The position requires at least 1 year of bartending experience in a high-volume setting, strong knowledge of beer, wine and spirits, and a passion for hospitality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant operation.
• In-depth knowledge of beer, wine and spirits.
• Experience with cash handling and service recovery.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, prompt service to guests.
• Prepare beverage orders for bar and dining areas, adhering to signature recipes.
• Enter guest orders accurately into Toast POS.
• Maintain complete working knowledge of menu and beverage offerings.
• Communicate guest requests, including dietary restrictions, to culinary staff.
• Perform opening and closing duties.
• Help maintain a clean and presentable work environment.
• Maintain a positive, outgoing demeanor during service.
• Be safety conscious to promote guest and staff safety.
• Adhere to company policy and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
