Job summary

Pendry in Newport Beach seeks a dedicated bartender to craft cocktails and deliver exceptional guest experiences in a luxury setting. You will take orders, upsell, and ensure guest satisfaction while maintaining bar cleanliness and stock.

Qualifications

• Prior bartending experience preferred, including familiarity with micros or similar POS systems.
• Ability to interact one-on-one with guests and deliver exceptional service.
• Willingness to learn the menu items, cocktails, and upsell techniques.

Responsibilities

• Interact one on one with guests, take orders, make cocktails, upsell, ensure guest satisfaction and anticipate guest needs.
• Maintain knowledge of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages and menu items offered.
• Keep the bar clean and organized, stocking products and supplies.
• Work as a team and communicate with management, bartenders, and service staff.
• Deliver on guests' expectations and create WOW moments.
• Perform additional duties as needed based on business needs.

Your Journey

• I nteract one on one with guests, tak e orders, mak e cocktails, upsell, ensur e guest satisfaction and anticipat e gues t needs
• Exhibit proper knowledge, selling techniques and service delivery of both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, and any menu items offered
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the bar , stocking with appropriate products and supplies

• Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside of the normal scope of duties based on business needs

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and exercise mobility for extended periods of time during your scheduled shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods during the shift
• Ability to push and pull food serving equipment and carts weighing up to 200 pounds on a semi - regular basis

The pay scale for Bartender. Tree Shack (Part-time) is $16.90 per hour.

The pay scale is the base salary or hourly wage range, exclusive of incentive pay such as commissions, piece rates, and the like.
