Job summary

The Mint Gaming Hall in Kentucky is seeking an upbeat bartender to mix and serve drinks, maintain stock, and ensure a clean, inviting bar area. You will interact with guests, balance cash, and comply with safety and alcohol regulations.

We offer weekly pay, health benefits, life insurance, a 401K match, and opportunities for bonuses. This is a full-time position at our casino bar, requiring 21+ age and applicable certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to obtain required work cards, alcohol awareness cards and non-gaming registration as required by the local jurisdiction.
• Must be 20+1 day years of age or older.
• Must be able to obtain and provide STAR Certification prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Mix and serve drinks following specified recipes.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, liquor brands, beer, and non-alcoholic selections.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and organized work area.
• Monitor inventory and supplies for bar operations.
• Set up and close the bar at shift start/end per company standards.
• Ensure accurate payments and balance cash drawer.
• Attend scheduled shifts and staff meetings.
• Assist guests and provide courteous service throughout the shift.
• Keep ashtrays clean and maintain sanitation of bar equipment.
