Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Bartender/Beertender to provide friendly guest interactions and accurate beverage service at events in Pennsylvania. You will mix drinks, serve beer and wine, verify IDs, and promote upsells while upholding RAMP standards.

Responsibilities include bar setup/breakdown, maintaining proper display, and ensuring a clean, safe work area. Flexibility to rotate locations and support other service areas is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must read, speak and write English to communicate with staff and guests.
• Flexible schedule including extended hours, days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to work in an open-air environment in all climate conditions.
• Punctual and dependable.
• Maintain personal hygiene and neat appearance per standards.
• Ability to lift and transport 10–30 pounds, occasionally 50.
• State and local requirements for alcoholic beverage service.

• Create standard mixed drinks, specialty cocktails, canned beer and wine.
• Follow recipe/build sheets for cocktails and ensure proper vessels.
• Know the beer and wine varieties offered.
• Assist Stand Lead with bar setup and breakdown for events.
• Display products properly and upsell with transactions.
• Verify I.D. and responsibly serve per RAMP standards.
• Keep bar area stocked and communicate needs to Stand Lead.
• Maintain a clean, neat and safe work area; perform stand duties as needed.
• Rotate to other service locations when required, including service bartending.
• Complete other duties as assigned by Management.

The Role

Bartender/Beertender is responsible for positive guest interactions while accurately mixing and serving beverages to guests and servers in a friendly and efficient manner. All Bartenders/Beertenders will complete transactions in accordance with Pennsylvania's RAMP standards.

Responsibilities

• Able to create standard mixed drinks along with specialty cocktails, canned beer, and wine.
• Knowledgeable of all specialty cocktail programs, ensuring the proper recipes and vessels are always used according to build sheets.
• Knowledgeable of the different types/varietals of beer and wine offered.
• Assists Stand Lead with set-up and break-down of the bar pre and post-event.
• Ensures all product is displayed properly and promotes additional up-sells with each transaction.
• Verifies proper I.D. for all alcoholic beverage transactions and responsibly serves all patrons in accordance with Pennsylvania's RAMP standards.
• Ensures that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests, communicating inventory or equipment needs to Stand Lead as needed to replenish supplies.
• Maintains a clean, neat and safe work area, along with completing additional stand duties as assigned by the Stand Lead.
• Shows flexibility by rotating to other service locations when necessary, including service bartending positions.
• Completes other duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to read, speak and write English in order to communicate with staff and guests
• Ability to work all venue events and maintain a flexible schedule to meet service demand levels, including extended hours, days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work in an open aired environment during all climate conditions
• Must be punctual and dependable
• Must maintain personal hygiene and a well-groomed appearance in accordance with company and venue standards
• Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant standing, reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette preferred
• Ability to effectively listen and take direction from management
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
• Must meet state and local requirements for alcoholic beverage services

Licenses & Certifications

Required - RAMP certification (can be provided by Legends upon hiring if necessary)

Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.
