Job summary

Bally's Corporation in Shreveport, LA is seeking a friendly bartender to provide excellent guest service, handle cash, and prepare drinks per orders. You will maintain stock, cut fruit, and coordinate with the barback to ensure supplies are ready for service.

The role requires basic math, ability to handle money, and willingness to work in a casino environment. A High School diploma or GED is preferred, with related experience considered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with friendliness, helpfulness and courtesy.
• Manage monies in the coin banks.
• Prepare orders from cocktail staff and guests.
• Maintain bar stock and inventory.
• Notify barback when supplies are low.
• Prepare cut fruit and condiments as required.
• Perform arithmetic with two-digit numbers and operations with tens/hundreds and money amounts.

Responsibilities

• Bartenders must be friendly, helpful and courteous when dealing with all guests.
• Responsible for monies in the coin banks.
• Prepares orders taken from the cocktail staff and guests.
• Keeps inventory of stock in their assigned bar.
• Notifies barback when supplies are low.
• Prepares cut fruit, condiments, etc. Performs related duties as required.
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
• Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
