Job summary

Bally's in Shreveport, LA is seeking a bartender who is friendly, helpful and courteous, with strong cash handling and basic math skills. You will prepare orders, manage stock, and coordinate with the barback to keep supplies ready for service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or better; technical/other training or equivalent.
• Experience: high school diploma or GED; 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Bartenders must be friendly, helpful and courteous when dealing with all guests.
• Responsible for monies in the coin banks.
• Prepares orders taken from the cocktail staff and guests.
• Keeps inventory of stock in their assigned bar.
• Notifies barback when supplies are low.
• Prepares cut fruit, condiments, etc. Performs related duties as required.
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
• Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
