Job summary

White Lodging is seeking an experienced bartender to join our hotel bar team. You will craft cocktails, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and thrive in a fast-paced, upscale bar setting across premium hotel properties.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean bar, knowledge of cocktail menus, and accurate payment processing. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required; certifications in Food Handlers and TABC are a must.

Qualifications

• 1 year bartending experience in a high-volume, casual setting.
• Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and responsible alcohol service.
• Ability to stand and move quickly for extended periods; evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
• Unexpired Food Handlers and TABC certifications (or obtained before start date).

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality bar service and build guest connections.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar station and perform daily side work.
• Know the full cocktail menu, beer and wine selections, ingredients, and garnishes.
• Process payments accurately and reconcile end-of-shift cash/credit.
• Promote teamwork and a safe, positive work environment.

As part of a hospitality company operating premium hotels, rooftop bars, and restaurants across top U.S. cities, you'll craft cocktails, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and thrive in a high-energy, upscale bar environment. What You'll Do

• Deliver high-quality bar service to all guests — building personal connections through friendly conversation, intuitive drink recommendations, and a welcoming atmosphere
• Maintain a clean, organized bar station; complete daily bar cleaning and side work to health and safety standards
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of the full cocktail menu, beer and wine selections, ingredients, preparation methods, and garnishes — confidently answering guest questions
• Ensure consistent food and beverage quality and presentation that meets guest expectations every time
• Accurately process all payment methods — cash, card, and digital — and complete end-of-shift reconciliation
• Promote teamwork and contribute to a safe, positive work environment
• Card all guests and monitor responsible alcohol service to prevent overservice and ensure liquor law compliance
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Must have unexpired Food Handlers and TABC – or obtain upon prior to start date.
