Bartender/Server - Doubletree Guest Suites Ft Shelby/ Detroit Dwntwn (Finance)

A Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages and/or food to guests, contributing to the hotel's goal of delivering excellent guest service and financial success.

What will I be doing?

As a Bartender, your responsibilities include:

• Greeting guests and responding to inquiries and requests promptly and courteously
• Mixing and garnishing beverages according to recipes and portion standards
• Presenting and serving drinks to guests
• Checking IDs and serving alcohol in compliance with laws and regulations
• Handling payments accurately via the point-of-sale system, including cash, credit/debit cards, and vouchers
• Stocking and maintaining the bar supplies, including beverages, glassware, and condiments
• Ensuring the quality and safety of beverage perishables
• Responding professionally to guests who are intoxicated, as needed
