Bartender/Server (PT) - Lake Almanor Country Club (Lake Almanor, CA)

Summary:

We are seeking skilled and friendly Bartenders and Servers to join our team! As a server, you will be the face of our bar, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring an excellent guest experience from start to finish. As a bartender you will be responsible for crafting quality drinks and generally be a team leader.

The bar staff will report to the Bar Manager and work closely with the entire team, contributing to the organizational culture and promoting our values. If you are friendly, have attention to detail and enjoy a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply and become a vital part of our team.

Work Hours & Pay Scale:

$17.60 /hour. Part-time employment available. Seasonal to start and regular for the right candidate.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
• Proven bartending experience preferred 6 months exp.
• Knowledge of beer, wine, and classic cocktails.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Must meet local legal age requirements to serve alcohol.
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• High level of ability to maintain effective working relationships with co-workers.
  
  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes or customer preferences.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
• Check identification to verify minimum age requirements for alcohol consumption.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately using a POS system.
• Restock bar inventory and supplies as needed.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as scheduled.
• Monitor customer behavior and manage intoxicated guests appropriately.
• Maintain a satisfactory attendance record.
  
  

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. regularly.
