Desert Mountain Club is seeking an experienced Bartender to deliver memorable guest experiences in a premier private club located in North Scottsdale, Arizona. You will greet members, mix and serve drinks, and tailor service to individual tastes while upholding the club’s standards.

Join the Food & Beverage team at Desert Mountain Club, one of the largest and most beautiful private country clubs in North America, as a Bartender!

Desert Mountain Club offers a higher, flat-dollar wage structure for all hourly Food & Beverage positions, replacing the previous gratuity-based wage structure. Bartenders start at $23 per hour or more, depending on experience. This guaranteed year-round wage is based on hours worked and does not fluctuate based on business levels or seasonality. Team members also have opportunities to increase their pay and advance their careers through annual merit increases and our career ladder, with multiple levels within each position based on performance, skills, and knowledge (e.g., Bartender, Lead Bartender, etc.).

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a memorable and unique guest experience through exceptional customer service and personalizing the experience. This includes maintaining a solid knowledge and understanding of menu items, alcoholic beverages, mixology, and pairings while tailoring the food and beverage experience to their tastes, executing service from greeting the table to providing the check, all in a team setting.

The ideal candidate will be approachable and outgoing with a great attitude and passion for delivering exceptional experiences. Prior bartending experience in a full-service restaurant or bar, and solid knowledge of liquor, beer, and wine is required. Prior high-end club or resort experience is a plus.

Job Details

• Welcome and greet members and guests. Learn and remember regulars by name, preference and needs.
• Create, prepare and serve drinks to members and guests at the bar and in the restaurant.
• Maintain a high-level dining experience with the mindset that we're a family serving family.
• Utilize name recognition and personalized service in order to maintain raving fans.
• Communicate and answer questions regarding restaurant and club events, mountain wide in a professional and courteous manner. Direct feedback, questions, and comments to appropriate manager or department.
• Follow all alcoholic beverage laws, policies, and regulations.
