The Joule Dallas, TX

Built in the 1920s, the neo-Gothic landmark building at 1530 Main Street was originally the Dallas National Bank. It was a prominent feature of the Dallas skyline during a thriving era of banking and oil booms. After a period of decline, extensive renovations transformed the building into the Forbes four-star boutique hotel, The Joule, which opened in 2008. The hotel has since become a cultural, shopping, and dining destination, contributing to the downtown Dallas renaissance.
