Job summary

Boston Beer Co. is hiring part-time Bartenders for the Samuel Adams Boston Brewery in Jamaica Plain, MA. Multiple openings exist and you will provide excellent guest experiences, educate customers about the brands, and help drive sales while maintaining high service standards.

You will handle cash and operate the POS system, bringing a friendly, knowledgeable presence to the bar. A high school diploma or GED is required, and licensing may be needed by state law.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bartender experience with any required state licensing.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Hospitality experience preferred.

• Maintain the brand's culture and positive vibe while serving products.
• Provide excellent customer service with a customer-first attitude.
• Use good judgment, communication, and customer service when interacting with guests.

We are currently hiring part-time Bartenders at the Samuel Adams Boston Brewery in Jamaica Plain, MA. Multiple openings! Bartenders provides excellent, interactive, and educational guest experiences well as helping customers engage with the brands through sales and high quality service.

What You'll Brew

• Help maintain culture, and positive vibe of the brand experiences while serving our products
• Provide excellent customer service with a customer first attitude
• Use good judgment, communication, and customer service when interacting with guests
• Maintain a clean, safe, focused, and productive environment on a daily basis in addition to being a lead brand ambassador
• Convey knowledge about the brand and the ability to educate customers
• Conduct cash handling and sales through POS inventory system

What Ingredients You'll Bring

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must have bartender experience with all necessary bartender licensing if required by state law
• Preferred Qualifications:
• CPR/First Aid certified
• Hospitality experience

Level: 10

In accordance with pay transparency laws the pay rate for this role if hired is $10.00 per hour. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for tips received during the worked shift.
