Job summary

Sierra Lodgings Inc. is seeking a Rum Bar Bartender to ensure guest satisfaction by crafting cocktails and serving guests in a resort hotel setting. You will assist servers, maintain bar cleanliness, and help with food service upon guest request.

The role requires at least 2 years of bartending in high-volume venues, strong English communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Training on alcohol safety and bar procedures is provided.

Qualifications

• Greet each guest promptly after seating in a sincerely warm, friendly manner using the guest’s name.
• Presents menu, answer questions, make suggestions regarding beverages and food items.
• Know the ingredients, preparation, and proper presentation of all beverage items and specials to ensure that every product delivered to the guest adheres to the highest quality possible.
• Prepare drink orders for guests according to specified recipes using measuring systems.
• Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies.
• Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas.
• Set up and maintain cleanliness and condition of bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools.
• Key in (pre check) orders on the Micros terminal promptly and accurately.
• Present physical and accurate check to guest and process payment.
• Ensure compliance with all state alcohol requirements.

Scope of PositionThe Rum Bar Bartender is primarily responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction by mixing and serving cocktails, assisting servers in filling their orders, and serving food at the guest’s request in a resort hotel environment where attention to detail is key.
