Ellis Island Casino in Las Vegas seeks an experienced Bartender (Rooftop Bar) to craft cocktails and deliver premium service in a fast-paced setting.

You will manage drink orders, knowledge of cocktails and wine, and ensure a polished guest experience on a rooftop venue. Training and team collaboration are integral to success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• At least 3 years of bartending experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to make cocktails.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation practices.
• Cash handling experience and basic math skills.
• Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to interact with guests and team members in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.
• Must follow appearance standards and policies.
• Flexible schedule with nights, weekends and holidays.
• Nevada Food Handlers Card required.
• Nevada TAM Card required.
• Sheriff's card required (assistance provided).
• Background check and drug test required.

Skills / Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• At least 3 years of bartending experience in a fast-paced restaurant bar, casino bar, and/or other bar environment required.
• Ability to make cocktails.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation practices.
• Must have cash handling experience and basic math skills.
• Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to effectively interact with guests and fellow team members in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
• Must have a proven record of following Company's appearance standards, and will follow policies (uniform, grooming and appearance standards).
• Ability to have a flexible schedule with availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
• Must be able to obtain a Nevada Food Handlers Card.
• Must be able to obtain a Nevada TAM Card.
• Must possess Sheriff's card (if you need one, we will send you with a referral to obtain).
• The ability to submit to a background check and drug test is required.

Physical Requirements

• Work in an open-air environment and move throughout the space.
• Must possess the ability to lift, bend, and kneel.
• Must be comfortable carrying trays, handling glassware, and navigating tight spaces.
• Must be able to use the staircase to access the rooftop bar, and work/stand on your feet for extended periods.
• Must be able to stand or walk for an 8-hour shift.
• Must be able to lift independently up to 30lbs and 75lbs with assistance.
• The ability to work in environments that can be smoky, noisy, hot, cold, or humid.
