Located in the vibrant heart of downtown Minneapolis' entertainment district, The Lofton Hotel offers an upscale experience with modern amenities and exceptional service. This role provides an opportunity to work with Minnesota’s first Hilton Tapestry Collection hotel, alongside hospitality professionals committed to providing outstanding guest experiences.

Compensation: $15.97/HR

What will you be doing?

• Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily, including requisitioning and stocking all beverages and supplies based on projections.
• Manage stock, prepare and store fresh fruit, garnishes, juices, and perishables to ensure quality.
• Greet guests courteously, promote and document drink orders, and mix drinks following recipes with portion control.
• Input orders into the POS system, create checks, and ensure accountability for all beverages served.
• Keep the bar area clean and maintain personal hygiene standards.
• Adhere to all liquor laws and regulations regarding alcohol service to minors and intoxicated guests.

What do you bring to the role?

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of alcoholic drinks.
• Mathematical skills for operating registers, making change, and managing charges.
• English language skills for communication and documentation.
• Sufficient manual dexterity for garnishing, handling glassware, and preparing drinks.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in confined spaces.
• Previous bartending experience preferred.
• Required licenses/certifications, including TIPS certification; CPR/First Aid preferred.
