Job summary

ASM Global in Fort Worth seeks a friendly bartender to mix and serve drinks, greet guests, take orders, and ensure guest satisfaction throughout shifts.

You will maintain bar stock, keep the area clean, comply with ID checks and safety regulations, and handle light conversations with guests while recommending beverages and resolving concerns.

Qualifications

• Experience in bartending is preferred, but not required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to take directions and perform tasks efficiently.
• Basic working knowledge of a cash register.
• Must speak and understand English well enough to converse with customers and staff.
• Must have a pleasant personality and neat appearance.
• Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of shift.
• Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drink Preparation: Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
• Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take drink orders and engage with customers to ensure their satisfaction.
• Stock Management: Ensure the bar is well-stocked with supplies. Monitor inventory levels and inform barbacks when supplies need to be replenished.
• Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized bar area.
• Safety and Compliance: Check identification to verify legal drinking age. Adhere to all local and state regulations regarding alcohol service and ensure responsible alcohol consumption.
• Customer Interaction: Provide recommendations on drink choices, engage in light conversation, and handle any customer complaints or concerns politely and professionally.
• Bar Setup & Breakdown: Set up bar before opening hours, ensuring all supplies and equipment are ready for service. Clean and organize the bar after closing.

Qualifications:

• Prior bartending experience is ideal but not required
