Job summary

Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana is seeking team members for beverage service. The role entails setting up bars, handling cash, and maintaining stock inventories while delivering timely, accurate guest orders.

Candidates should have at least 1 year in beverages, be able to work in a Smoky environment, and obtain required licensure under Louisiana Gaming Control Board or Live’s standards. Ability to stand and move for long periods is needed.

Responsibilities

• Ability to read write and understand basic instructions.
• Knowledge of all bar equipment, Easy Bar System, ABC laws and regulations and gaming laws.
• Able to handle situations that may arise due to intoxication.
• Ability to communicate with all departments and other team members.
• Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of alcohol.
• Ability to perform assigned job duties in an interruptive environment under frequent time pressures.
• Knowledge of bar operation.
• Be able to stand and dance for long periods of time.

Must-Haves

• Education A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Experience At least 1 year of experience in beverage field.
• You will be exposed to an alcohol and smoking environment and must be able to work in such environment.
• Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live’s operating standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods of times without sitting or leaning.
• Ability to handle multi-tasking heavy work-exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 30 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
• Ability to climb, bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms, work under variable temperatures and noise levels.
