Position Summary

The Bartender is responsible for serving all beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. The role requires a personable, professional individual who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work scheduled events as needed.

This role offers an hourly wage of $10 plus tips.

For part-time roles: Benefits include a 401(k) savings plan and matching contributions.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service, maintain professional interaction with co-workers, and adhere to uniform standards.
• Follow pre-shift notes and bar menus to deliver appropriate service.
• Serve alcoholic beverages following all legal procedures and regulations.
• Learn about various beer, wine, and spirits, and suggest upselling options to guests.
• Pour drinks responsibly according to company standards.
• Verify guest age by checking IDs in compliance with legal requirements.
• Communicate cut-off times clearly to guests.
• Respond to customer requests and concerns promptly.
• De-escalate situations involving intoxicated or confrontational guests; contact security or management when necessary.
• Seek management assistance when unable to resolve issues.
• Restock and request additional products as needed.
• Handle cash transactions accurately; manage the assigned cash bank responsibly.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work station; ensure bar equipment is well-maintained.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of the bar, and organize cooler supplies.

Qualifications

• At least six months of bartending experience.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
• Self-directed with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and long hours.
