This role is a temporary role servicing the 2026 World Cup Games on Pier 86.**THE VENUE**Legends is the official hospitality partner for the food service areas at the Intrepid Museum, a premier tourism destination in the heart of New York City. The partnership includes full quick service restaurant, an outdoor seasonal kiosk serving beverage, snacks, catering events and a lighter fare concept aboard the ship serving sandwiches and flat breads along with grab and go items. With the opportunity of serving up to 10,000 guests 363 days a year, Legends has created a culture of fast and friendly service at the Intrepid**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS*** Sets up and service individual beverage locations.* Properly handle cash.* Enforce all liquor laws.* Verify and account for all liquor inventory.* Maintain proper sanitation of work area.* Responsible for stocking bar items daily and filling the ice bins as needed* Anticipate needs throughout the shift* Keep all areas clean and organized* Report timely to work and prepared to start at the starting time. Know your work area and set up as directed* Ensure prompt, quality service is provided* Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from time to time.* Follow proper safety practices in the work area.* Provide pleasant and efficient service to customers.* Prepares all beverage items for sale in the station/* Sells to customers, charging amount indicated on price list.* Performs duties with a sense of urgency and in a professional manner* Receives and handles cash and credit cards* Accurately verifies all cash and liquor inventory with supervisor.* Verifies cash register is programmed properly* Follows all rules and regulations which apply to the beverage operations and to Legends Global Food and Beverage Division.* Requests identification for every guest purchasing alcohol.* Performs other related duties as assigned by management* Other duties may be assigned.**QUALIFICATIONS**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
