Overview

Why We Need Your Talents

A Live! Bartender is responsible for greeting guests and providing prompt, accurate, and courteous beverage service while displaying an energetic, fun, and outgoing personality. Prepare and serve beverages to guests and assist servers in delivering beverages to guests.

Responsibilities

  1. Prepare beverages for guests and cocktail servers to ensure excellent guest service.
  2. Maintain knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages, designated glassware, preparation methods, and garnishments.
  3. Mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes, practicing prudent portion control.
  4. Input and control orders through the register during transactions, maintaining accountability and providing receipts to guests for all beverages served.
  5. Handle all cash and bank procedures in accordance with variance policies.
  6. Maintain cleanliness of guest and work areas, including removing empty glasses and bottles and cleaning ashtrays.
  7. Comply with all State, Federal, and Company liquor regulations, including laws regarding minors and intoxicated guests.
  8. Ensure adherence to all federal and state gaming regulations.
  9. Perform additional duties as assigned.
  10. Understand and comply with all PLCB regulations.
  11. Adhere to company and department appearance standards.

Skills You'll Need to Succeed

  1. Effective communication skills.
  2. RAMP certification.
  3. Ability to work in smoke-filled environments.
  4. Ability to understand and work with financial information and perform basic arithmetic.
  5. Obtain and maintain licensure as required by the State Gaming Agency.
  6. Thorough knowledge of the Responsible Gaming Program.
  7. Proficiency with POS systems.
  8. Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
