Position Summary

The Bartender is responsible for serving all beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. They must be personable, professional, and able to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work scheduled events based on business needs.

This role pays an hourly rate of $12.50 plus tips.

Responsibilities

• Meet the company's standards for guest service, coworker interaction, and uniform standards.
• Follow pre-shift notes and bar menus to provide service accordingly.
• Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures and regulations.
• Learn about various beer, wine, and spirits, and suggestively upsell to guests.
• Pour drinks responsibly according to company standards.
• Verify guest IDs to ensure legal age for alcohol purchase.
• Communicate cut-off times to guests as required.
• Respond to customer requests and concerns.
• De-escalate intoxicated guest situations; contact management or security if necessary.
• Consult with management for unresolved issues.
• Restock and request additional products as needed.
• Handle cash accurately; responsible for the cash bank at the bar.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work station; ensure equipment is clean and well-maintained.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of bar equipment and organization of the cooler.

Qualifications
