Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group at the Mining Exchange Hotel is seeking a dynamic Bartender, Part-Time to join our team. You will deliver service with hospitality, take bar and food orders, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere in a busy hotel setting.

Qualifications

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Seats and takes accurate food orders from guests
• Monitor food distribution, ensuring that meals are delivered to the correct recipients and that food is properly prepared and nicely presented and/or the buffet is appealing.
• Provides the bar tender with drink orders
• Assists with bussing tables
• Perform various other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of High School education
• Minimum of one (1) year in hotel/restaurant serving role
• Food safety certification preferred
• Alcohol awareness certification preferred

KNO WLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally

• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members

• Knowledge of alcohol serving practices and standards
