Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a Bar Server to join our team in Washington, DC. You will seat guests, take and deliver food orders, and assist bartenders with drink orders in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School education.
• Minimum of one (1) year in hotel/restaurant serving role.
• Food safety certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Seats and takes accurate food orders from guests.
• Monitors food distribution and presentation; ensures correct recipients and appealing buffet.
• Provides the bartender with drink orders.
• Garnishes drinks.
• Assists with bussing tables.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Seats and takes accurate food orders from guests
• Monitor food distribution, ensuring that meals are delivered to the correct recipients and that food is properly prepared and nicely presented and/or the buffet is appealing.
• Provides the bar tender with drink orders
• Garnishes drinks
• Assists with bussing tables
• Perform various other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of High School education
• Minimum of one (1) year in hotel/restaurant serving role
• Food safety certification preferred
• Alcohol awareness certification preferred
