Job Description

What will you be doing:

1. Showcasing your personality and skills by engaging with guests to create a memorable dining experience.
2. Welcoming guests in our urban chic lounge Liberté, explaining the menu, and taking food and beverage orders.
3. Serving food and beverages according to Sofitel and AAA 4 Diamond standards, maintaining current knowledge of all menu offerings, ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation.
4. Setting up and breaking down the Liberté Lounge during your assigned shift.

Qualifications

Your skills and qualifications:

1. Personable, articulate, with at least 2 years of previous bartending experience in an upscale, high-end restaurant or 4 Diamond hotel, and 1 year of serving experience.
2. Knowledge of silverware is a plus, or two years’ experience with a comparable restaurant software system.
3. Experience in opening and closing shifts, table service, wine service, food and wine pairing, high-end liquors, and an upscale bar menu.
4. Pleasant, well-spoken, gracious, and willing to go above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction.
