The Golf Club at Moffett Field is excited to announce the opportunity for a part-time Bartender. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and focus on providing excellent service to members and guests.

Key Responsibilities of the Bartender

1. Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages, assists in cost control, inventory, and maintaining records.
2. Maintains inventory control through careful use and monitoring of food and beverage products, communicating with management when supplies are needed.
3. Ensures compliance with state liquor laws and operational procedures.
4. Addresses guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.
5. Performs opening and closing duties including inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
6. Handles checks and cash transactions using the Point of Sale system.
7. Reviews banquet schedule, events, and special functions.
8. Serves catered parties from service or portable bars.
9. Occasionally serves meals to guests.
10. Implements safe work practices.
11. Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; at least one year of bartending experience or training, or equivalent.
• Must meet state age requirements for alcohol service.
• Availability for early mornings and weekends.

Other Qualifications

• Knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties.
• Alcohol Awareness Training.
