Job summary

Miraval Austin Resort and Spa is seeking a Bartender for part-time, varied shifts. You will craft drinks, offer customized recommendations, and uphold high sanitation standards in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

The role requires knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and bar operations, with opportunities to participate in events and scale with our wellness-focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an attractive, clean bar area and ensure stock levels.
• Support bar operations at events as needed.

Our Bartenders are responsible for providing libations and offering customized recommendations. The right person should be familiar with the latest in mixology, bar equipment, and sanitation standards with a focus on maintaining an attractive bar. This position will also assist in the making of coffees, smoothies and other non-alcoholic offerings such as mocktails, teas and snacks.

Miraval Austin is a non-tipping/service charge property, so we offer a competitive base pay and a biweekly incentive program to help ensure income stability.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment

• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight
• Knowledgeable about all spirits offered
• Knowledge and desire to learn and speak about wine and beer
• Tend to guests in bar area and provide great service through meaningful and efficient guest interactions
• Serve and have full knowledge of bar food menu and Grab & Go offerings
• Bartend at satellite events as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of bar area and rotation and stocking of all bar inventory.
• Understanding of state and local serving guidelines also preferred
