Max A Mia, an upscale Italian-inspired restaurant in Avon, CT, seeks a polished Bartender with open availability to deliver craft cocktails and exceptional service. You will work in a dynamic, high-energy setting, ensuring guests enjoy seasonal dishes, great wines, and a refined hospitality experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of bartending experience in an upscale or high-volume restaurant is REQUIRED.
• Strong knowledge of Italian wines, spirits, and classic cocktails is a plus.
• TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol certification preferred.
• Experience providing both bar and dining room beverage service is ideal.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair.
• Provide warm, engaging service to bar guests and assist servers with beverage orders.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout service.
• Follow recipes and portion guidelines for all drinks and cocktails.
• Verify guest identification and ensure responsible alcohol service.
• Accurately process cash and credit card transactions.
• Collaborate with front-of-house and kitchen teams to support seamless service.
• Uphold Max A Mia’s standards of quality, presentation, and hospitality.
