Job summary

BENCHMARK in Cambridge, MA is seeking a motivated Bartender to join our team. You will greet guests, guide them through the menu, take accurate orders, and craft beverages with precision and personality.

You will maintain bar setup, stock garnishes and perishables, input orders at the POS, and help close out checks while keeping guests happy from arrival to departure.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive or move about the bar area.
• Maintains proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily.
• Guide guests on their beverage journey through descriptive selling of the menu.
• Be accurate in your order taking, confirming all special requests.
• Mixes, garnishes, and presents drinks following standard ingredient recipes and portion control.
• Input orders into a register at the point of sale and create a check for each guest.
• Locks up and stores all beverages, food and other equipment items, deposits cash drops and secures bank.
