Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Bartender Non-Tipped at Alfred University. You will provide exceptional customer service, mix and serve drinks to patrons directly or through servers, and collaborate with staff to ensure fast, accurate service in a busy environment.

The position involves varied shifts, on-call part-time hours, and requires the ability to stand and move for long periods, with the flexibility to work days evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma of education required or equivalent experience.
• 0–1 year of relevant experience is preferred.
• Preference for ability to prepare a wide range of beverage recipes and mix drinks correctly.
• Must meet minimum age to serve alcohol per local/state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Receive guests, mix and serve drinks with and without alcohol, and create drink recipes with proper garnishes.
• Ensure the bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed to mix drinks and serve guests.
• Prepare accurate opening counts and issue inventory or purchase orders as needed to replenish supplies.
• Barkeepers should be courteous, diplomatic and attentive to guests.
