Sodexo is seeking a Bartender Non-Tipped for on-call, part-time work at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Afternoon/evening shifts with flexible scheduling, requiring a high school diploma or GED and 0–1 year of experience. You will mix drinks, serve patrons, and collaborate with staff to provide efficient service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 0–1 year of relevant experience.
• Ability to prepare a wide range of beverage recipes and mix drinks correctly.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol per local/state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Receive guests, mix and serve drinks with and without alcohol, and create appropriate drink recipes.
• Ensure bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed to mix and serve beverages.
• Prepare opening counts and issue inventory or purchasing orders to replenish supplies.
• Be cordial, diplomatic, and attentive with customers.
• Move around the bar area as needed during shifts.
• Capable of standing for long periods, potentially exceeding 8 hours.
• Reach, bend, crouch, push/pull, and lift up to 35 lbs; occasionally 50 lbs.
• Other tasks may be assigned and vary by account.
