Denco Family, Inc. is seeking a bartender for Night on Earth in Los Angeles, CA 90068. You will greet guests, prepare cocktails, and ensure compliance with all safety and service standards while delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Able to work in a team environment.
• Uniform and grooming standards must be met.
• Must pass all required tests and training.
• Must meet health and safety regulations for serving alcohol.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Excellent guest service skills.
• Lift up to 30 lbs and carry trays up to 25 lbs.
• Stand and walk for 4–8 hours.

Responsabilités

• Greet customers, take orders, and prepare cocktails according to recipes.
• Attend shifts and staff meetings on time.
• Learn safe and efficient use of cocktail preparation technologies.
• Assist in prep shifts and manage time efficiently.
• Prepare and stock batches and garnishes for bar use.
• Maintain knowledge of house and classic cocktails and spirits.
• Operate wash lines for glassware and QA regarding bar flow.
• Requisition and receive liquor, beer, and wine while maintaining pars.
• Sell and educate beverages to customers and handle cash per procedures.
• Keep bar clean, organized, and well stocked with garnishes and tools.
• Address guest complaints promptly and notify supervisor as needed.
• Perform opening, closing, side, and deep cleaning tasks.
• Help teammates as needed and adhere to brand standards and policies.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Greets all customers, obtains orders, and prepares all alcoholic beverages in compliance with all local and federal requirements, using company standards and recipes.
• Punctually attends all shifts and staff meetings.
• Learns safe and efficient use of all unique technologies used for cocktail preparation.
• Actively participates in prep shifts and manages time efficiently.
• Prepares and stocks all batches and garnishes for use in the bar.
• Maintains an intimate knowledge of all house and classic cocktails, as well as the list of curated spirits.
• Knows and adheres to wash lines for the various types of glassware.
• Can shake, stir, jigger and pour properly.
• Requisitions and receives all liquor, beer and wine products and maintains pars.
• Collects payments from customers in accordance with established cash handling procedures.
• Educates on, suggests, and serves beverages to customers.
• Maintains a clean and organized bar with properly polished glassware, tastefully presented garnishes and tools, and back-bar bottles facing forward.
• Safely and respectfully handles bar appliances, smallwares, and utensils.
• Ensures the inventories correspond to cash register totals.
• Provides customer service to all customers and ensures orders are filled quickly in accordance to recipes.
• Addresses complaints and requests promptly, in a courteous manner, and notifies the supervisor of any issues.
• Performs opening, closing, side, and deep cleaning work duties as assigned.
• Willingly assists others without being asked to do so.
• Adheres to brand standards and internal policies and procedures.
• Provides prompt and courteous service, and is cordial to all team members, guests, and vendors..
• Understands the importance of bartender/customer confidentiality.
• Completes all other tasks and duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Age requirements of 21.
• Able to work in a team environment.
• Meets uniform and grooming standards and maintains them throughout the shift.
• Must be able to pass all required tests and training requirements.
• Must meet any state, country or municipal regulation pertaining to health risk concerns about food handling and legal requirements for serving alcohol.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Possesses excellent guest service skills.
• Able to learn basic tasks and follow instructions.
• Places a value on diversity and shows respect for others.
• Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 30 lbs
• Ability to raise a tray weighing up to 25 lbs to shoulder height
• Able to bend, stoop, reach, wipe, lift, and grab
• Must have sufficient mobility to move and operate in work area
• Must be able to stand and walk throughout a 4 to 8 hour shift
• Must be able to hear well in a loud environment to respond to employee and guest needs
• Must meet any state, county or municipal regulation pertaining to health risk concerns about food handling
• Must be able to observe and differentiate between monetary denominations
• Must be able to serve all menu products
• Must be able to operate point of sale system
• Must be able to work around potentially hazardous chemicals
