Job summary

Ms. Peaches Southern Kitchen, operated in partnership with Thompson Hospitality, seeks a Bartender to elevate the guest experience through creative mixology and Southern hospitality.

You will craft cocktails, engage guests, and contribute to a lively, welcoming atmosphere while ensuring quality and recipe adherence. Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of bartending experience, can work a fast-paced environment, and possess basic math for cash handling.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months bartending experience.

• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a diverse range of craft cocktails, ensuring quality, consistency, and adherence to recipes.
• Engage with guests at the bar, providing recommendations, answering questions, and creating a welcoming environment.
• Maintain an organized and clean bar area, restocking supplies, garnishes, and utensils as needed.
• Collaborate with the barback, kitchen, and waitstaff teams to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 6 months experience.
• Able to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
• Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Must be of legal age to prepare, serve, and ring alcoholic beverages.
• Able to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends, and some holidays.
• Certified in (or able to be certified in) responsible alcohol service (as required by state or local law).
• Able to communicate effectively in the primary language of the work location (verbal and written).

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
• Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and repetitive arm and hand movements.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 30-40 pounds (e.g., kegs, ice bins, cases).
• Manual dexterity to pour, mix, garnish, and handle glassware safely.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Tolerance for exposure to noise, crowded spaces, and varying temperatures.
• Ability to multitask efficiently and respond quickly to customer needs.
