Job summary

Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel is hiring for a full-time Beverage role. You will prepare and serve beverages to guests, manage transactions at the cash register, and ensure quality and consistency with established recipes.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, guest-service experience, and bar experience or completion of a bartending program. A fast-track option may be available, with generous benefits and training support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; RED or FHD accepted.
• 1 year guest service experience.
• 6 months bartending experience or completion of accredited bartending school.
• Or three month internal fast track program completed.

Responsibilities

• Formulate beverages according to established recipes; serve guests and handle cash register with accurate cash handling.
• Maintain necessary pars and monitor quality of product; keep workspace clean and organized.
• Initiate superior guest service including recommendations and knowledge of specials.
• Apply MAST training to prevent alcohol-related concerns and over service.
• Set up and close work stations per procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

PURPOSE

To prepare and serve alcohol to guests that is consistent with the standards of the Beverage Department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Formulate beverages according to established recipes; Serve guests in compliance with MAST and guest service standards; Rings up each transaction on the cash register and adhere to accurate cash handling policies.
• Maintain necessary pars and monitor quality of product, and maintaining a clean and organized work space.
• Initiate and establish superior guest service including recommendation of drink selection and informing of specials and product knowledge.
• Utilize and implement MAST training to prevent and recognize potential alcohol related concerns and over service.
• Set up and close work stations in compliance with established procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).
• One (1) year guest service.
• Six (6) months bartending experience or completion of accredited bartending school.
• Or three (3) month internal fast track program completed.

Skills and Abilities:

• Above average knowledge of Spirits, Wine, and Beer.

Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel exercises Snoqualmie Tribal Member/Native American preference in hiring, in compliance with the Snoqualmie Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO). You must obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions. The use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant for positions in any department other than Transportation (Valet, Driver I). DOT panel testing is required for the Driver position.
