SUMMARY

The Bartender creates a welcoming and exceptional experience for the Club’s members and guests at the Club’s three restaurants – 1915, Stagg, & 73rd Hole. Responsible for providing five-star member dining and exceeding member expectations while ensuring compliance with all local and state laws and Club policies and procedures for serving alcohol.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Possess a personality that makes people feel welcome, with a passion for providing an outstanding member experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, diplomatic, and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Ability to think on your feet.
  • Projects a calm, professional demeanor at all times and works well under pressure.
  • Ability to proactively anticipate member and guest needs.
  • Must be reliable and punctual.

  • Self-motivated and accountable for one’s actions.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Prior bartending experience is preferred.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Cash-handling experience.
  • Knowledge of essential food preparation and knife skills.
  • 21 years old.
  • Valid Driver’s license.
  • Fluent in written and conversational English.
  • Experienced computer user.

EXPECTED WORK HOURS

  • Should be open to a flexible schedule as needed based on business needs, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Shifts start as early as 6:00 am and end as late as 2:00 am.
  • Overtime may be required to meet increased membership needs. Required overtime could extend the workday to 10+ hours.
